Loretta “Lori” Chapman went to her eternal life on Saturday, June 16th, 2018. The last five months for her was an intense fight against menacing cancer. .

Lori was born on December 4, 1956 to Edrie Lou Nickerson (Smith) and Dr. C.J. Nickerson in Independence, Missouri. On May 8th, 1981 Lori married Joseph Chapman. Choosing to support the family while also raising her children, Lori operated her own beauty shop attached to the home and did so for thirty years. Lori is survived by her mother Edrie, husband Joseph, son Aaron, daughter Staci and Staci's husband Tom Capranica, grandchildren Aiden, Jameson, and Madison, and brothers Dennis and Corky. Lori loved all her nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
