Bill Chappelow

Billy Lee Chappelow, 68, passed away January 19, 2005 at Edgewood Manor. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the chapel. Billy was born on September 13, 1936 to Herschel and Lola Chappelow. He was born and raised in Independence, MO, a graduate of William Chrisman High School. He was kind and gentle in heart. Billy loved to be around his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He spent his later years at Edgewood Manor in Raytown, MO, in the company of good friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Sue Chappelow. Billy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Kelli Chappelow; grandchildren, Ben Chappelow, Jakob Mobley, Kaylee and Tommy Chappelow; and his beloved friend, Margaret Turney.
