Bessie Marie Chartier, 89, passed away Wednesday, October 06, 2004 at Lawson Manor, Lawson, MO. A graveside service will be 11 am Friday, October 8th at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8:30 pm at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Bessie was born March 29, 1915 in Wyandotte County, KS to Joseph and Bertha Ludwig. She was a salesperson with Montgomery Ward for 32 years, at the Belmont Ave store. Bessie is survived by her son, Nicholas E. Chartier II of Excelsior Springs, MO; daughter, Sharon Gail Ann Stine of Bates City, MO; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Nellie M. Sheil of Independence, MO.
