Ralph L. Christensen

Ralph L. "Chris� Christensen, 76, of Garden Grove, CA, passed away October 24, 2003 at his home. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel prior to the graveside service. Chris was born October 19, 1927 in Independence, MO to Charles and Carla (Wilhelmsen) Christensen. He attended public schools in Independence graduated from William Chrisman High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in WWII. He worked as a chemist for Amoco Corporation in Sugar Creek for a number of years before he retired. He is survived by a son, Charles Christensen of Garden Grove, CA; 3 sisters, Gloria Greenroos of Fallbrook, CA, Linda Bake and Judy Mutton both of Duchesne, UT; 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
