Mary Kay (Dolan) Cindrich, of Blue Springs, MO, a one of a kind Matriarch who was the “glue” that held everything and everyone together, passed away on December 28, 2020. She was 72 years old. Mary was born on September 29, 1948 in Kansas City, KS, to Leo and Doris Dolan. She graduated from Argentine High School in Kansas City, KS, in the class of 1966. Mary then went on to marry Freddie Cindrich on May 25, 1968 and two children were born to this union: Mindy and Steven.
Mary worked at Harmon Electronics for 10 years as an office secretary. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. Mary was very family oriented and loved traveling and spending time with her family, especially at the Lake of the Ozarks. Her family and friends knew her as an extremely generous and compassionate woman, especially to those in need. In the winter, Mary enjoyed spending time in South Texas. She was genuine and welcoming. Mary was a quiet and reserved woman who was an avid Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan. She enjoyed planning themed parties and cooking her favorite dish, “Spaghetti Red” that will be missed by many. Mary is survived by her husband of 52 years, Freddie P. Cindrich; daughter, Mindy Ann Cindrich-Beland (Brian); granddaughters, Shelby Dawn (Clifton) Welton and Britney Renee Cindrich; brother, Patrick (Kate) Dolan and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Leon and Doris Lavonne Dolan and son, Steven Jay Cindrich.
A private graveside service will be held for family. Attendees must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Mary will be laid to rest at Blue Springs Cemetery in Blue Springs, MO. The family has requests no visitors at the home before or after the graveside service due to Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
