Marion Alexander “Alex” Cipolla, 27, passed away on September 4, 2017. A visitation will be held from 5-7pm, with funeral service to follow at 7pm, both Monday, Sept. 11, at St. Mark’s Parish in Independence.
Alex was born on March 30, 1990, in Kansas City, MO, to Peter and Kim (Gillison) Cipolla. He graduated from Lee’s Summit West High School in the class of 2008, and attended MU with emphasis in psychology and business.
Shortly after college, he moved to Prescott, AZ. He was employed at Viewpoint Recovery Center as a Director of Business Development. He loved his family, and delighted in spending time with his two-year-old daughter, Mackenzie. He enjoyed working out, playing competitive softball, and spending time with his friends. Alex had a heart of gold, and helped others whenever and however he could.
Alex is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Cipolla and her mother, Nicole Berndt; father, Pete Cipolla; mother, Kim (Brian) Dunn; sisters, Christin (Chuck) DiMartino, Maddi Cipolla, and Cassie Cipolla; step-mother, Star Cipolla; and many grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Cora Gillison.
