“Frankie Jo” Clark, 91, formerly of Independence, MO, went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, November 22, 2014. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26th at Noland Rd. Baptist Church; 4505 S. Noland Rd. Independence, MO. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Frankie Jo was born February 28, 1923 to James and Elsie (Mangold) Clark of Amsterdam, MO. She attended Southwest Baptist College and Oklahoma Baptist University inevitably graduating with a Master’s Degree in Education. She was a devoted teacher for 39 years mostly in the Kansas City School District. Frankie Jo was very active in her church ministries at Sycamore Hills Baptist, Noland Road Baptist, and First Baptist of Lee’s Summit. She volunteered for the bus and children’s ministry and supported the mission’s field. She is remembered as a prayer warrior and as a bold witness; sharing the love and of Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and best friend, Phyllis Sage. She is survived by her cousins, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.
