Wayne Clark, 74, of Independence, MO passed away on September 29, 2006 at the Medical Center of Independence. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Gudgell Park Community of Christ Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Outreach International. Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War as a Navy "Seabee.� He was dedicated to serving as an Elder in the Community of Christ, Gudgell Park Congregation, running his own business for 16 years in the environmental services industry, and serving as an honorary warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He also enjoyed morning mall walking and Monday breakfast with his men�s group. Wayne thoroughly enjoyed traveling and being with family. He will be dearly missed. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jewell (Sprouse) Clark; and two sisters, Marguerite Misner and Maurine Zwickl. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Maureen Clark; son, Michael Clark and his wife, Tanya; daughter, Michele Arnold and her husband, Grant; grandson, Shaun Michael Clark, and his mother, Mary Elliott; step-grandchildren, Garrett and Micaela Mead; and many other loving family members.
