William Taft "Bill" Clark

William “Bill” Clark, 67, of Independence, MO passed away on May 3, 2016. Memorial Services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Bill was born on September 24, 1948 in the coal mining city Springhill, PA to James and Marie (Savage) Clark. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Bill was a bee keeper for many years and he retired from MCI Hospital as a maintenance engineer. After retirement Bill started building cabinets and furniture for family and friends. He enjoyed working in his shop and listening to Roy Orbison and Smokey Robinson. Survivors include; wife Darlene Clark; sons Martin Clark and Gene Clark; daughter Rebecca Clark; brothers Mike Clark, Doug Clark, and Bob Bard; sister Debbie Cole; 7 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. Bill is preceded in death by; his parents; son William Clark; daughter Tammy Clark; 2 sisters, and 13 brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
