Rebecca Ellen Clasby Kilgore, 53 of Independence, MO passed away, Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2103 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Monday at the chapel. Donations may be made in her name to Hope House. Rebecca was born October 9, 1960 in Independence, MO to Norman and Marina Kilgore and has been a lifelong area resident. She had worked as a manager in the fast food Industry for a number of years. She enjoyed fishing and her dogs. She is survived by; 2 sons, John Clasby and his fiancé Jennifer Harvey and Chris Clasby all of Independence, MO; her fiancé Keith Harmon, the love of her life of Blue Springs, MO; 2 sisters, Paula Kilgore of Independence, MO and Patricia Newell of Pittsburg, MO; her mother Marina Harris and her husband John of Lee’s Summit, MO; 2 grandchildren, Colten Clasby and Chloe Harvey and her best friend, Mona Winterholer of Florida..
