Milton (Bill) Clevenger, 95, formerly of Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, January 13th at Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, MO. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17th at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. in Braymer Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Golden Age Nursing Home, 12498 SE 116th Hwy, Braymer, MO 64624. Bill was born July 5, 1910 in Ray County, MO to P.M. and Sarah (Griffey) Clevenger. He was married to Alta Hall of Dawn, MO, on May 19, 1929. Miltons younger years were spent around Braymer, MO on a farm. He was a Mason and a member of the Independence Avenue Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. He came to Kansas City in 1951 working at Sheffield Steel, 27 years before he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Alta Clevenger on December 14, 2004. Mr. Clevenger is survived by his son Norman Clevenger of Independence, MO, three daughters Peggy Siebert of Lee�s Summit, MO, Donna Axsom of Independence, MO, Shirley Pollard of Liberty, MO; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and two step grandchildren. Milton was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, five brothers and four sisters. We will cherish the memories he created for us and we will miss him so very much.
