Betty  E. Cline (Simmons)

Betty E. Cline, 87 was born October 12, 1928 in Hartford, CT to Omar and Marion (Williams) Simmons and moved to Kansas City in 1931 graduating from East High School in 1946. She worked in the business world in greater Kansas City for over 50 years. Betty was a 55 year member of the First Assembly of God Church in Independence. She was preceded in death by; her husband Paul D. Cline in February of 2012; sisters, Rica Bentz, Helen Ryle and Mary Hartenbauer; a brother Orin Simmons and niece Fran Ferguson. Survivors include; sisters, Edna Smith of Blue Springs and Barbara Durham of Augusta, GA and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1p.m., Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 followed by funeral services at 2p.m., Friday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
