Charlene G. Clinton, 70, of Independence, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with interment in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2013, at the chapel.
Charlene was born on August 20, 1943 in Glenaire, the daughter of the late Marion Francis and Luella Mae (Stockwell) Ayers. She was a housewife and homemaker throughout her life and was always diligent in providing for the needs of her dear family.
Charlene enjoyed spending time with her family and painting.
She is survived by: the love of her life of 51 years, Jack Clinton, of the home in Independence; one son Darren Clinton and fiancé Wrae, and one daughter Tonya Clinton, both of Independence; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Harrison, Jon, Justin, Teya, Tyler and Sage; and seven great-grandchildren; one brother Roy Ayers, Pomona; and one sister Sharon White, Willow Springs.
