Mildred Ileane Coatney

Mildred Ileane Coatney, 85, of Independence, MO, passed away, Saturday, August 7, 2004 at St. Mary�s Hospital in Blue Springs. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. Mildred was born September 29, 1918 in Table, NE to Roy A. and Hazel M. (Boyle) Parker. She worked as a homemaker and mother and enjoyed quilting. She was married to Earney E. Coatney on October 3, 1937 in Dallas County, MO, he survives of the home. Other survivors include; 2 daughers, Patsy I. Hollingsworth and her husband Robert of Blue Springs and Jackie L. Cox and her husband Roy of Odessa, MO; 2 sisters, Lila L. Burns of Independence, MO and Willa M. Sapp of Humansville; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, an infant in 1940, Jimmy D. Coatney in 1981 and Leroy Coatney in 2003.
