Donald Cochrane

Don Cochrane, 72, of Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016. A memorial visitation will be held from 1-3:00pm on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. Don was born July 15, 1943 in Kansas City, MO, to Walter and Charlene Cochrane. He proudly served in the United States Army and worked as an entrepreneur. He enjoyed building cars, traveling to Mexico and helping the locals while he was visiting. Don will be remembered by his loving wife, Lori, of the home; daughter Stephanie Ewing of Mission, KS; brother Ron McCoy of Independence, MO; grandson Seth Ewing; nieces Rhonda Auer and husband Dan, Kelly Bearden and husband Joseph, and Dorene Garrett. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army.
