Eula Barrett Coil, 91, formerly of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Eula was born November 2, 1920 in Choudrant, LA the daughter of Walter R. and Mary Etta (Babb) Barrett. She received her Nursing degree in 1945 from the Independence Sanitarium. Eula worked as a registered nurse in various hospitals throughout the Independence area. She was a member of the Community of Christ Congregation and enjoyed spending time gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin on September 8, 2012; her son, Steve Coil; grandson, Brendan Coil; two brothers; five sisters, and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Janna LeFeuvre and husband Bruce; son, Wayne Coil; daughter in laws, Marilyn Dunstan, and Debbie Sue Coil; grandchildren, Aaron Coil and Kristen Mooer; Brian McKinsey, Matthew, Melissa and Katie Coil, Jenny Downs, Kimberly Davis, Mark and Johnny Scott, Peter Fitzgerald, Crystal Jones, Rebecca Chauhan, Angie, Jennifer, Matthew, Nicole, Carolina, and Cesar LeFeuvre; 15 great grandchildren.
