Misty Marie Collins (Stuck), 30, of Independence, MO, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019. A visitation will be held from 7-9pm on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St, Independence, MO 64055. Service will be at 2pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 also at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial to follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Misty was born on June 19, 1989 to Ray Stuck and Donna Swartz in Lee’s Summit, MO. She graduated from Fort Osage High School before starting work at Milestone Academy as a daycare provider, a job that she loved. Misty had two sons, Joshua and Remington and she married Kris Collins in 2017. Those who loved Misty will always remember her laugh and smile. She had a big heart, with a special place for children and animals. Misty would do anything for anyone, especially family. Her children were her life and brought her great joy. She loved going to family events, country and Christian music, going to South Padre Island with her grandma, the Dallas Cowboys, and hummingbirds. Misty is survived by her two young sons, Joshua Michael Bailey Jr. and Remington Thomas Michael Collins; her father, Ray (Inna) Stuck; her mother, Donna (Jamaal Harrison) Swartz; brothers, Jeremy Roy (Jesse) Stuck, Levi James (Delilah) Harris, and Ethan Nathaniel (Jordyn) Swartz Corley; husband, Kris Collins; and in-laws, Mike and Christy Collins.
