Nancy Collins

Nancy Collins, 70, of Buckner, MO passed away February 17, 2016. Per her request cremation has taken place, and a Memorial will be held at a later date. Nancy was born on November 27, 1945 in Bardwell, KY. As a toddler she moved to IL with her parents Ralph and Dorothy (Thurmond) Duncan. Nancy later settled in the Independence area. Nancy loved arts and crafts, especially working with clay. She enjoyed anything that made a mess! She enjoyed cooking, watching old movies, history, and spending time with her grandchildren. Nancy always had a story to tell, and there was never a dull moment. She was a very caring and giving person, always going above and beyond to help anyone. Survivors include; daughters Melodee Sartin (Larry) and Sandy Henry (Bill); 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren with one more on the way. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tracy Tasch.
