Marjorie M. Colston

Marjorie M. Colston, 85 of Independence passed away Mon. Feb 6, 2006 at her home. Services will be 1:30 pm, Mon. Feb 13, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Indep. MO. Burial in Mount Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 6:00 pm Sunday at the Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army. Mrs. Colston was born on Sep 1, 1920. She had been a sales clerk with Sears, Payless, and Bradley Grocery Store for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Business Professional Women�s Association and was a volunteer at the Salvation Army and the Shepard�s Center. Mrs. Colston was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1988. She is survived by a son, Ron Colston of Buffalo, MO. Seven grandchildren, Dean, Ricky, Brian, Donald, Steven, Rhonda and Gary. Sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
