Adalee Jane Comstock, 90 of Independence, MO passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm Thursday evening at the chapel. Adalee was born December 11, 1925 in Webb City, MO to William R. and Allie (Hawkins) Stuteville. She had worked as a service representative for SW Bell for over 36 years until she retired. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, quilting, doll collecting and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church and the Telephone Pioneers Club. She is survived by: 2 sons, Thomas E. Countryman of Kansas City, MO and Harry L. Countryman, Sr. of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren, Harry Countryman, Jr., Robert Countryman, Robin Huggins and Brian Huggins; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
