William C. Conatser, 86 of Blue Springs, Mo passed away, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at his residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Lakeview Pentecostal Church in Blue Springs, MO. Burial with full military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the church. Donations may be made in his name to Crossroads Hospice. Bill was born May 1, 1928 in Ozark, AR to Robert Ernest and Nancy S. (Rogers) Conatser. He worked as a steel rule die maker for a number of years and had owned his own business. He proudly served in the US Air Force during WWII and the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed woodworking which included making furniture and musical instruments, building and constructions work and photography. He was a member of Lakeview Pentecostal Church. Survivors include; his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Barbara “Libby” Conatser of the home; 2 daughters, Susie Adams and husband Rick of Pensacola, FL and Jodie Smith and husband Scott of Blue Springs, MO; a son, Gary Conatser and wife Renee of Grain Valley, MO; a brother, Maurice Conatser and wife Mary of Townsend, TN; a sister, Nancy Goodwin of Cummins, GA; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William C. Conatser, Jr, his parents, 2 sisters, Idabelle Strong and Eunice Smith and 3 brothers, Virgil Conatser, Merle Conatser and Jack Conatser.
