Verva Mabel Conger (Mogg)

Verva M. Conger, 98, of Mountain View, MO passed away March 2, 2017. Memorial services led by John and Rita Foster of Community of Christ, will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Verva was born in Saskatchewan, Canada December 28th 1918. After her business education she worked in a postal service office for 5 years, then went to Washington D.C. to work in a British government office under the Lend Lease program for 2 years during WWII. She married Allison Goss and became a US citizen, and had 6 children. Allison died in 1968. Verva then worked for the US government in a GSA office for 20 years. She married Lee Conger in 1972, who had 4 children. Lee died in 2011. Verva lost one of her children, Steve Goss, in death in 1992. Which leaves 5 living children; Les Goss, Dawn Smith, Wanda Singmaster, Jerry Goss, and Julie Reed. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
