Connie Hoover

Connie Tylice Hoover, Independence, MO was born on February 27, 1970, in Shawnee Mission, KS, and passed from this life on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the age of 53.

Connie grew up in Bethany, MO, and is a 1988 graduate of South Harrison High School. She met her life partner, Gary Howard in September 1995 and gave birth to her daughter Ashley on July 5, 1996. She always said that having Ashley was her greatest accomplishment. She was a dedicated, hardworking employee who worked in customer service and nutrition for most of her adult life, always providing a smile and a laugh to customers and coworkers alike. Connie was always the life of the party, she could make light of any situation, and she had the most contagious laugh. She was a non-judgmental person who loved people and was always willing to lend a hand, even if it meant she had to go without something.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Ashley Howard, her lifelong partner, Gary Howard, and a slew of grandcats, Independence, MO. She also leaves behind step-mother Lois Sanders; sisters, Lori Niffen (Scotty), Stacy Auguste (Wedley), Michelle Kanzler, Jasmine Sanders, Dulcie Dick-Cantillano (Joel), and brother Steve Lawson (Michelle), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Ann and Gail (Striker) Sanders.

A memorial service will be held at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39^th Street S, Independence, MO 64055 on December 9, 2023 at 2 pm.
