Evangeline Juliet Constable

Evangeline J. Constable, 88, of Lee�s Summit, MO passed away on June 22, 2006 at the Wilshire at Lakewood. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in which she and her husband were charter members. Evangeline was born on October 14, 1917 in White Cloud, KS to Henry and Juliet Ploeger. She graduated from Raytown High School, lettering in basketball, and singing in the school chorus. She will be remembered as a fun loving and strong willed women whom her family admired greatly. Evangeline�s hobbies included sewing, playing the piano, organ, and violin, and most of all spending time with her grand and great grand children. Evangeline was also a long time member of the Lee�s Summit United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob� Lee Constable; and her son, Robert "Bobby� Lee Constable. She is survived by her daughter, Juel Shwindt and husband Edward; son, Dennis Constable and wife Kathy; four granddaughters, Jill Shortell, Jennifer Schmidt, Tammy Ellis and Lorissa Constable; and seven great grandchildren.
