Fred Thompson Cook Jr.

Fred Cook, 60, of Independence, MO passed away January 7, 2018 at his home. A Celebration of Life will take place from 2-4pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Fred was born on September 25, 1957 in Carthage, MO. For over 40 years Fred has been a custodian for VanHorn High School. Survivors include; his wife of 11 years Florence Cook; mother Nancy Cross; sisters Terry Lavere and Becky Hailey; brother Lee Cook; 5 step children; 7 grandchildren; and a large extended family and many friends.
