Roberta Cook, 93, of Sugar Creek, MO, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Roberta was one of four children, born to Lonnie and Alberta (McDonald) Johnson on October 4, 1925 in Missouri. Roberta was a good person and a good sister. She was a giving person and easy to get along with. She was independent, even into her 90’s. She loved to dance and go shopping. She enjoyed stockcar races, live music, crocheting, tending to her roses, and loved animals. Before his passing, Roberta enjoyed spending time with her nephew, Eldon Wayne; they had a bond that was particularly special to her. Roberta is survived by sister, Elizabeth Silkwood of Chillicothe, MO; brother, Jim Johnson of Sugar Creek, MO; and sister, Wanda Leonard of Garden City, MO; several nieces; and a nephew. She is preceded in death both parents; and two husbands.
