Gladys L. Cooper, 85, of Hamilton, MO passed away Thursday, September 8th at Liberty Hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m.. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Gladys was born April 17, 1920 in McCurtain, OK to Lee Roy and Laura (Gill) Aldridge. She loved to cook and was known for her biscuits and gravy, and fried potatoes. Gladys was a down-to-earth person and enjoyed working in the yard tending to her vegetables and flowers. Mrs. Cooper is survived by her children Teresa Howell, Ray Johnson, Lola Smith, Claude Johnson, Alice Landeros, April Von Holt, Stanley Harmon, Tommy Harmon; 36 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Shirley Desselle, son Fred Harmon; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
