June 20, 1955 — October 30, 2012

Teresa Paulette (Morlan) Cooper, 57 of Oak Grove, MO passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at her residence. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the chapel. Teresa was born June 20, 1955 in Kansas City, KS to John and Pauline (Sellegren) Morlan and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Van Horn High School in 1973. She had worked as a Nutrition Specialist for the Grain Valley School District for over 9 years. She enjoyed art, gardening, cooking and most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by; her husband, Keith Cooper of the home; a daughter, Rachel Robinson and her husband, Shawn of Independence, MO; 2 step sons, Brian Cooper and Brad Cooper; a step daughter, Christina Cooper; 4 sisters, Alexis Huddleston of Oak Grove, MO, Donna Morlan of Grain Valley, MO and Jennifer Morlan of Independence, MO and Barbara Graham of Oak Grove, MO; a brother, John Morlan of Independence, MO; 6 grandchildren, Gaige Tosspon, Carinne Magee, Maddox Robinson, Brennen Cooper, Dayton Cooper and Brittany Cooper and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
