Shannon Cordes

Shannon Cordes, 37, of Independence, MO passed away on December 18, 2007. Visitation at 9:00 a.m., followed by Service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Shannon was born on February 26, 1970 in Independence, MO to Dean Cordes and Dorothy Cordes Johnson. She graduated from Raytown High School and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from CMSU. She worked as an accountant throughout the rest of her short life. Shannon is survived by her mother, Dorothy Cordes Johnson; father, Dean Cordes; sister, Kelly Highfill, her husband Todd and their son Tanner; and maternal grandparents, Merlin and Lorene Clark.
