Norma Ann Corkern (Cofer)

Norma Ann Corkern, 84, of Independence, MO passed away May 18, 2016. A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, at the Suburban Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Norma was born February 17, 1932 in Lincoln, NE to George and Anne Cofer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Horace “Corky” Corkern. She is survived by her son, Douglas Corkern; daughter, Debra Parsons; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
