Darrell Cottingham, 96, of Independence, MO passed October 5, 2012 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. Inrunment will be held at a later date at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, MO.
