David Cox

David E. Cox passed away on May 15, 2004 at the Rosewood Health Care Center, Independence, MO. David was born on March 7, 1929 in Independence, MO. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from December 19, 1951 until December 13, 1955. He served as a Metalsmith on the USS Bryce Canyon. He was processed in death by his father Earl Cox and a sister Marjorie Cox. David is survived by his mother Thelma Cox of Independence, MO, and two brothers Ralph Cox of Independence, MO, and Kenneth Cox of Belton, MO; his three children Mike, Patricia, Tom, and two grandchildren. David was a member of the Community of Christ Church and has spent most of his life in the Independence area. David will be missed by family and friends.
