Ralph O. Cox, 75, of Independence, MO went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at the Medical Center of Independence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday at the Brighton Cemetery in Brighton, MO. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. Ralph was born March 16, 1931 in Independence, MO to Earl and Thelma (Williams) Cox. He had worked as a mill worker for KC Booth for 26 years until he retired in 1996. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Ralph was a member of the CGMA and the MOKAN Gospel Music Association. He attended the Life Christian Center in Lee�s Summit, MO. He was married to Martha Lawson on July 23, 1955, she survives of the home. Other survivors include; a daughter, Kathy Marsh and her husband Dan of Lee�s Summit, MO; his mother, Thelma Cox of Independence, MO; a brother, Kenneth Cox of Belton; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Earl Cox and a brother David Cox.
