Virginia Lee Cox, 71 of Kansas City, passed away, Saturday, September 18, 2004 at her residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at the George C. Carson and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Virginia was born August 6, 1933 in Oketo, KS to Adolph and Viola (Keen) Peach. She was a homemaker. She attended Gospel Lighthouse Church in Kansas City, MO. Virginia did spend her last day with her best friend and granddaughter, Kailey. She was married to Abe G. Cox, he passed away in 1987. Survivors include; 4 daughters, Linda Kiesling of Kansas City, KS, Durinda Williams and Kimberly G. Cage both of Independence, MO and Billie Jo Ford of Sugar Creek, MO; 2 sons, William Peach and Leonard Stiles both of Independence, MO; a brother, Kenneth Peach of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 sisters, Lola Enss and Ruby Chaszar of Independence, MO; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ronald Eugene Cox in 1959 and Eugene Francis Stiles in 1952; 3 brothers, Noah Peach, Earl Francis Peach and John Ivan Peach and a sister, Ruth Decker.
