Robert Edward Coy Jr., 84, of Raytown, MO passed away Friday, May 5, 2006 at home. He was born in Nashua, NH on Sept. 20, 1921 to Robert Edward and Fannie (Pero) Coy. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Sylvia Hallam and Phyllis Becker and his first wife, Beryl Short Coy. Mr. Coy moved to Kansas City, MO in 1976 and worked various places and retired as Quality Assurance Supervisor at Wilcox Electric in 1986. He was a member of One Spirit United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Coy of the home, a daughter Cheryl Fleming and husband Jim of Raymore, MO; a son Gregory Coy and wife Susan of Derry, NH and a daughter Lorna Stinchfield and husband Duane of Belchertown, MA; six grandchildren, Lori Sherwood and husband Allen Flood of Rockville, MD; Kevin Coy of Pflugerville, TX; Brian Coy of Lowell, MA; Amy Stinchfield of Montreal, Canada; Captain Todd Stinchfield and wife Angela of Seattle, WA and Michael Coy of West Palm Beach, FA. And a great granddaughter, Ava Flood of Rockville, MD. He is also survived by a niece Marge Reed and husband David of Nashua, NH. Survivors also include four stepsons, Jerry Windsor and wife Denise; Jeffrey Windsor and wife Renee, Jim Windsor and wife Carrrie and Joseph Windsor and wife Angie and thirteen step grandchildren; Jennifer Phillips and husband Jesse of Independence, MO. Benjamin, Danielle, Travis, Megan, Kaitlin, Patrick, Colby, Tyler, Zachary, Emily, Bryce and Noah Windsor all of Kansas City, MO. A Celebration of Life will be held at One Spirit United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2006. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to One Spirit United Methodist Church, 7900 Blue Ridge, Kansas City, MO 64138 or to Heartland Health/Hospice, 1001 E. 101st Terrace, Suite 180, Kansas City, MO 64131.
