Lois Dean Cramer (Whitlow)

Lois Dean Cramer, 94, of Independence, MO passed away August 26, 2020.
A visitation will be held Monday August 31st from 9-10am with a funeral service at 10am, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St.; Independence, MO 64055. Interment will follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery.

Lois was born March 5, 1926 in Blackwater, MO to Henry and Nellie (Mercer) Whitlow.
She married Harvey J. Cramer on September 24, 1955 and enjoyed 55 years of marriage until his passing in 2010. Lois enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, quilting, flower gardening and was a talented oil painter. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and family that love her.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey; her sons, Larry Cramer and Dennis Cramer; brothers, H.C. Whitlow and Donald Whitlow; and sister Dorothy Hickam.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Vermillion and her husband, Ernie; grandchildren, Jeremy Cramer, Jennifer Cramer, Eric Cramer, Jason Cramer, Becky Cramer, Steven Vermillion, Stacy Cowan; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Charlie (Velvanne) Whitlow, Jean Link, Katherine Ross, Marilyn (Calvin) Franz, and Laura (Howard) Hamilton.
