Eugene B. Crawford

Eugene B. Crawford, 84,of Kansas City, MO, passed away, Thursday, February 3, 2005 at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2005 at the St. Catherine�s Catholic Church. Burial with full military honors will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. Sunday at the St. Catherine�s Catholic Church where a rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Our Lady of Peace Catholic School or to Kansas City Hospice. Eugene was born April 11, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to Benjamin & Genevieve (Manley) Crawford. He grew up in Kansas City graduating from DeLaSalle Catholic High School. He worked as an Electrician and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local #124 for over 30 years before retiring in 1983. He was a member of the board of the I.B.E.W., Pearl Harbor Survivors, the Marine Corps League and the Truman Appreciation Society. He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home and sons, Dennis, Brian, Matthew, Mark and their families and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Dennis�s wife, Peggy Crawford and their daughter Jennifer Crawford.
