John J. Creager, 68, Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013.
John was born July 18, 1945 in Atchison, KS the son of Harry and Enid (Swanson) Creager. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. John retired from Consolidated Freightways after 28 years as a dispatcher. He enjoyed watching sports, and playing golf.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy of 46 years; sons, Eric Creager, John Creager and wife Jennifer; three grandchildren; brother, Bob Creager and wife Donna; sister, Sarah Enid McBride and husband Dennis; aunt, Rosalie George; and additional nieces, nephews, and family. John was preceded in death by his parents and his maternal grandparents, who raised him.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery; 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64138, with Military Honors.
