Jared Bailey Creech, 26, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Jared was born to Kenneth and Julie Creech on October 16, 1995 in Independence, Missouri.
Jared was a resilient 26-year-old man who survived childhood Cancer. As a recipient of a Make A Wish Foundation Disney trip, he was also a sponsored patient in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training when he was 6 years old. Jared played percussion in the marching band at Blue Springs South High School. After suffering a brain injury in 2017, Jared’s four-month recovery was inspiring, and the following years included him learning how to walk, talk and even drive again. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, listening to music, star gazing and the science of space as well as hiking in the mountains of Colorado.
Jared is survived by his mother, Julie Creech (David); father, Kenneth Creech (Victoria); brothers, Jonathan Creech (Hailey), Jeremiah Creech; step-sisters, Jill Miller, Alexis Abrams, Abby Abrams, Stefaney Martinez; step-brothers, Jordan Martinez, Bryce Martinez; grandparents, Eddie and Bonnie Lloyd, Claire Creech; aunt, Jennifer Miller (Michael); uncle, Greg Creech (Sandy) and many other cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 8th from 5-6pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Jared’s memorial service will begin at 6pm.
