Ola Marguerite Creel, 89 of Excelsior Springs, MO, formerly of Independence, MO, joined her Heavenly Father on Fri, Dec. 12, 2003 at the Excelsior Springs Medical Center. Services were held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003) at the Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL. Burial in Wolf Ridge Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. Contributions are suggested to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Excelsior Springs Ward, 204 Bombay St. Excelsior Springs, MO 64024. Mrs. Creel was born on Mar. 21, 1914 to Harry and Lillian (Kelley) Harris in Morriston, AL. She had been a Seamstress for Gelhaar Uniform Company in Kansas City, MO retiring in 1967. Ola was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Excelsior Springs Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dillon Creel and two daughters, Barbara L. Creel and Alice J. Creel. Mrs. Creel is survived by two sons, Thomas F. Creel and wife Barbara and Leonard Creel and wife Karen, all of Excelsior Springs, MO. One daughter, Carolyn Miller and husband Daniel of Independence, MO. A sister, Helen McDaniel of Saraland, Al. Six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
