Floy Irene Crites

Floy Irene Crites, 87, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away on April 12, 2004 at The Little Sisters of the Poor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 16, at the Little Sisters of the Poor Chapel, with the burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held directly ahead of the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Little Sisters of the Poor. Floy was born on March 18, 1917 in Centropolis, MO to George and Jeanette Lewis. She was very devoted to the Catholic Church, as well as being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Crites; and one brother, Earl Lewis. Floy is survived by her three sons, David Lee, Dale J., and Dennis J. Crites; three brothers, Willard, Vernon, and Cecil Lewis; two sisters, Betty Flanagan and Alice Corbett; eight grandchildren, Danny Crites, Michelle Stumfoll, Eric Crites, Patrick Crites, Tim Crites, Christina Morris, Dale Crites and Renee Rivera; and five great grandchildren.
