Katherine Mary Crockett, 90 of Overland Park, KS passed away, Thu. Oct 12, 2006 at the Indian Creek Health Care Center. Visitation will be 10 - 11:00 am, Tue. Oct 17, 2006 at Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO with the service immediately following. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, KS. Contributions are suggested to Odyssey Hospice, 9229 Ward Parkway Suite 350, KCMO 64114. Mrs Crockett was born on July 4, 1916 in Kansas City, KS to Nicholas and Mary (Dragush) Dolenar. She had been a photo editor with The Yearbook House for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of St. Pat�s Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS. Mrs. Crockett was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Crockett and a daughter, Sharon K. Gibson. She is survived by a son Russell Crockett and wife Wendy of Jemez, NM and nine grandchildren, Robin Robinson, Daniel Dice, Devin Crockett, Pamela Coppola, Scott Dice, Pomo Crockett, Joshua Crockett, Elija Crockett and Keva Crockett; fourteen great grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
