Nancy Jane Cross (Whitehead)

Nancy Jane Cross. (80) Lived in Raymore, Missouri, passed away at home on Friday July 30, 2021. Nancy was born on February 19, 1941 in Carthage, Missouri to Floyd and Butis (Payne) Whitehead. She spent most of her early life in Carthage, Missouri before moving to the Kansas City area. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She worked most of her life doing factory work. She was also a homemaker. She enjoyed watching Western shows/movies and spending time with her family, friends and her dogs. Nancy is survived by her two children, her sister and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daughter, Terry Louvier and her son, Floyd Lee Cook and his wife Lori. Sister, Bea Osborne. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Carl D Cross, ex husband Fred T Cook, son, Fred Cook, two daughters, Luzetta Hegwer and Rebecca Hatley, four brothers Johnny, Don, Dwight, infant Robert, sister, Bonnie. The family will greet friends from 6 p.m to 8 p.m Wednesday evening, August 4, 2021 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave in Independence, Missouri 64052. A graveside service will be held at Noon August 5, 2021 at Emmanuel Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.
