Gaye Crowl, 71, of Flemmington, MO, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Kindred Hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel. Burial in Salem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to TBN, Pinecrest-The Banner, or Daystar Ministries. Gaye was born February 24, 1936 in Waterloo, IA to Ervin “Whitey” and Jean (Brown) Walker. She attended the Evangelistic Center in Kansas City and had a very strong faith in God. Mrs. Crowl was known as a Christian Soldier and witnessed to all those she came in contact with. Gaye is survived by her husband of 52 years, William “Bill” Crowl; children Diane Keefer, Cathy Smith, Bill Crowl, and Janie Blood; grandchildren Shannon Schlappi, Joshua Blood, Nathan Crowl, Jennifer Blood, Austin and Dustin Crowl, Sarah and Laura Crowl; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister and 3 brothers. She was preceded in death by her son Eddie Crowl.
