James Patrick Crowley, 50, of Kansas City, MO died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at his sister�s home in Lee�s Summit after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. Jim was born in Kansas City, MO and was a lifelong resident in the Northeast neighborhood of Kansas City. He graduated from Northeast High School, and attended UMKC. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of Mic-O-Say. He was an avid Chiefs fan, fisher, camper and whitewater canoeist. James was a printer by trade, and was a member of the Graphic Communications International Union, Local #16. He is survived by his brother, Sam Crowley; sister, Annette Singer; nieces, Becky Burmeister, Jennifer Herdliska, Rachel Trask, Sarah Morrison; nephew, Jeremy Crowley; as well as numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Detective Marvin D. Crowley and Harriet M. (Knight) Crowley; his twin brother, John D. Crowley; and one other brother, Michael D. Crowley. A visitation will be held from 1-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice or Cancer Action.
