Richard Louis Cumbie 49, of Independence, MO passed away Mon. Jul 25, 2005 at the Independence Manor Care Center. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Mr. Cumbie was born on Oct 25, 1955 in Independence and was a lifelong area resident. He had been employed at the Independence Regional Health Center Pharmacy and Osco Drugs for several years. He was a sketch artist and loved music especially playing the guitar. He was a US Navy Veteran. Richard is survived by his daughter, Nichole Cumbie of Olathe, KS. His mother, Bonnie Grimm and brother, Raymond Cumbie of Independence, MO. An aunt, Sandra McHenry of Independence, MO, Nephew, Dustin Cumbie and several cousins.
