Gary Curtis

Gary Curtis, 59, of Lone Jack, MO passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Gary was born August 7, 1955 in Independence, MO to Charles and Dorothy (Hicks) Curtis. He was a graduate of Van Horn High School. Gary retired in 2006 after 30 years of service at the GM Fairfax Assembly Plant. Gary was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed ATV racing with his sons, and spending time outdoors. Gary liked playing jokes on others, and had a quick smile. Survivors include; wife of 18 years, Judy (Moppin) Curtis; sons Gary Curtis, Jr. (Rachael) and Charles Curtis (Renee); grandchildren Conner Curtis, Addison Curtis, Seth Curtis, and Kassie Curtis; mother Dorothy Curtis. Gary is preceded in death by his father Charles Curtis in 2001. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Plains SPCA.
