Thelma Curtis

Thelma Curtis, 82, of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, November 23, 2003 at Regency Care Center. Visitation will be 2-3:00 pm Friday, November 28, 2003 at Speaks Midtown Chapel. Services will be 3:00 pm at the chapel. Thelma was born January 13, 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Charles and Jane (Stewart) Pike. Thelma was a good wife, loving mother and a fantastic Granny. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Curtis is survived by her daughters Heather Curtis Spiva of Grain Valley, MO and Jeanne Curtis of Independence, MO; grandchildren Misty Martin, Amy Hachinsky, Jeff and Matt Hendricks; great-grandchildren Tabbitha, Bryson and Kennedee Hannah Martin, Brenden Hendricks, Alexander, Andrew and Christopher Hachinsky, a sister Norma Ferguson and brother Charlie Pike both of Canada. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Stanley L. Curtis and a son Stewart H. Curtis.
