John Pehling Curtright passed away May 5, 2002 at the age of 78. He was born on St. Patrick’s Day 1944 and lived most of his life in the KC Metro Area. John was a gifted musician and played in several bands as lead guitarist and singer. He graduated from Baker University with a degree in Economics in 1967. He also served in the Navy Reserves as a dental technician during the Vietnam War. John was brilliant, forward-thinking and never far from his guitar. He leaves behind his daughter Amanda Cook and son-in-law Brandon of Kansas City, MO, brother Gale “Mick” Curtright Jr. and sister-in-law Carolee of Lincoln NE, nephews Tim and Tom Curtright and ex-wife Gloria Christie.
