Larry Wayne Custer

Larry Wayne Custer, 42, a loving husband and daddy, went to be with his Lord Sunday, July 3, 2005. Services will be 1 pm Thursday, July 7th at Maywood Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel. A graveside service will be 11 am Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, Milan, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Larry Custer Memorial Fund. Larry was born August 17, 1962 in Milan, MO to Wayne and Bessie Custer. He was in customer service with DST Systems, and previously was assistant manager of the Department of Motor Vehicles office in Independence. Larry was a dedicated member of Northeast Baptist Church, and developed the church library. Larry is survived by his wife Amy; daughter, Licie; son, Larry Jr.; parents, Wayne and Bessie Custer of Milan, MO; a sister, Penny Kent and husband Scott of Savannah, GA; father and mother-in-law, John and Caroll Tucker of Independence, MO; grandmother, Laverne Custer of Milan, MO; brothers-in-law, Brian Tucker, Matt Tucker and wife Charity; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Sean Kent, Kaden, Ethan, and Madelyn Tucker; grandparents-in-law, Karoll and Auda Martin of Broken Arrow, OK and Janie Tucker of Walnut Grove, MO.
